This is a 'Must read,' for every teenager and all who struggle with addictions and abuse, on how to overcome all life's challenges through the power of our resurrected Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.
Mother of seven and Grandmother to 17, Mae was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, and lived in Tennessee until only recently. Gifted with a talent to write gospel poems and songs; she wrote her first gospel song at the age of 12. After her conversion to The Lord Jesus Christ in 1965, she wrote and sang her songs in churches, wherever and whenever she was asked. She never tried to publish her works until 2001, when she wrote two poems, "One Nation under God" and, "If I Leave," in expression for 9-11. Entering these two poems in International contests, Mae received Best Poet of 2002" awards for both poems. *
Mae has 17 songs published, with 11 songs under contract, and 10 songs getting airplay in the United States and around the world. She doesn't count success as fortune or fame for, as she often says, "To me, it is if I can write something to bless others and make a difference. If I, in my writings, can spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ who saved me, then I have succeeded."
